Dr Faiza Shafi

Dr Shafi is a vastly experienced and empathetic Fertility Consultant who is renowned for her kind and personalised approach to patient care.

She graduated from Punjab University, Lahore, Pakistan in 2003 and successfully completed her Specialist training and Fellowship in Obstetrics & Gynecology in 2009. She moved to Ireland in 2011.

Dr Faiza is a Member of The Royal College of Physicians, Ireland, (MRCPI) The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, UK (MRCOG).

She is also a Member of British, American and European Societies of Reproductive Medicine and IVF.

Dr Shafi’s interest in Gynecology began at the start of her Medical Education.  During her training, she became passionate about Fertility when she encountered many couples struggling to become parents. Since then, Reproductive Medicine has been her prime focus.

Prior to joining Beacon CARE Fertility, Dr Shafi was The Clinical Director at Sims IVF, Cork and also worked extensively in hospitals in Ireland.

Her areas of special interest include Recurrent Implantation failure and patients with a poor prognosis.
