Dr Ahmed Omar

Dr. Omar is recognised as a leading expert in reproductive medicine across Europe. As Medical Director of Beacon CARE Fertility, he brings a wealth of experience and a dedication to achieving the best outcomes for patients. His comprehensive expertise and results-driven approach complement the team’s commitment to delivering the highest standards of care and the most advanced fertility treatments available worldwide.

He graduated from Ain Shams University, Cairo in 1988 and undertook further training in Europe.  He has been a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists since 1998 and is a Member of the Royal Society of Medicine (Ireland) and a Member of the British Fertility Society.

His sub-specialty training in IVF and reproductive medicine was carried out at the Assisted Reproduction & Gynaecology Centre in London. He was Deputy Medical Director of SIMS IVF where he helped to establish the clinic’s programmes in the areas of reproductive immunology and management of recurrent pregnancy loss.

Areas of special interest include: Pre-implantation Genetic Screening and Diagnosis (PGT-M and PGT-SR), Recurrent Implantation Failure and Reproductive Immunology.
